Heidi A. Swan is proud to have appeared on the final season of Dr. Phil in an episode about Marijuana Legalization. She’s been interviewed by NBC-LA and Fox.com discussing her work to educate the public about the mental health harms of marijuana.
Heidi and her brother, Kirk, co-authored A Night In Jail: a story about drugs and mental illness. Inspired by true events. Kirk was a homeless drug addict with schizophrenia. He was the inspiration for this gritty story that’s been adapted into an audiobook, teen-led short film and a play for the stage. Heidi gives presentations to educators about how they can use these materials to educate youth.
Heidi is on the faculty of Esquire Online Continuing Legal Education and works as a consultant for attorneys. Heidi also advocates for regulation of THC products.
