I apologize for the long stretch between reviews, but I was nervously awaiting the U.S. election results, with no sleep, totally immersed in the drama. With our democracy* at stake, little else seemed to matter.
Though now we see light, millions of people still voted for Donald Trump and his authoritarian form of government. He also assures us that his drama will continue, breaking all norms of history.
Thought this is a victory, we must never become complacent. Our fight will continue.
For those who have been patiently waiting, we will be posting a fiction review today.
(*Yes, I realize that the United States’ form of government is a “republic” and not a “democracy”, but the latter is what we are striving for. )
