Pandora’s Gardener – David Charles Mason

(Reviewed by Jeyran Main)

Exceptional
Pandora’s Gardener is a humorous adventure mystery written about John Gardener, who happens to be the holder or a seemingly harmless price of computer hardware that can cause enormous harm to humanity. The technology behind it can bring global domination; however, John has no clue.

On the other hand, Detective Sutherland and Bludgeon are working on a case that leads them to John, and as their paths cross, the adventure escalates. John finds himself facing the Russians, crooked cops, secret societies and more.

As the thriller proceeds, creating incredibly funny scenes and descriptive events, John’s character stands out throughout the whole ordeal. He seriously is not made for such action and dilemma, and for this reason, his character instantly grabbed me and kept my interest.

I predominantly enjoyed the plot as a whole. I normally look for details in a tale, and the underlying stories fulfilled my desire to read more but, with this book, the entirety of the package was what made it engaging.

I wasn’t a big fan of the cover. I didn’t think it suited the content or reflected it as well as it should.

I recommend this book to anyone who likes to read action thriller stories that are humorous.
